Toonies Tournament - Cloverdale BC

We just got back from Cloverdale, BC, where we competed in the Toonies flyball tournament. We went into this tournament with specific goals in mind: to get tournament experience for 2 green dogs, 2 green handlers, and a green line-caller.
Here is Dave (his first tournament racing) and Anthony (his first time coaching at the line). Great job guys!!

This is Cathy from Pacesetters luring a 'loose child' with a tug back to his family.

Big thanks to our friends at Matsqui and Run Free who were so helpful with us all day. We really appreciate everything you did to help us and hope you will call upon us whenever you need an additional hand or two at future tournaments!

We were running a team with 4 height dogs, so speed and wins were not a priority, but when the dogs started to click and everyone was running well, we were able to put in some nice times and win some races! With a few minor set backs and many great accomplishments, it was a great weekend. Congrats to Katie with Timber (FD, FDX) and Dave with Zoey (FD, FDX) for their first time racing, and big Unorthodogs welcome to Brooksie (who looks great in pink) with Rocket!
