First Tourny
Heading off for your first ever tournament and don't know what to expect? This video by "robbiebee" at youtube will show you the ropes. Though it is slightly different here in the states, this video from Great Britain shows the basics of how a tournament can run. Plus, it's pretty entertaining...

I really think this is a great video to show people what a flyball tournament can look like, and what the games all about.I especially like how it shows how much fun it is for the dogs and thething that's most often forgotten when talking about our sport-the comradery between club members! It shows that you will be spending lots of time with each other(not only at practice)so you and the club you want to join need to be as we always say, "the right fit."
Differences in Brittish Flyball seem to me to be light set up, and box styles.(box stlyes vary widely in flyball)
Rules the the lady talks about appear to be the same. She even touches on how important our boxloader Jen is to the team! Every human member of a club should be valued for his or her part whether they physically "run" a dog or are "support personel".
Face it, the dogs do most of the work - but there's a lot more to this game than appears at face value for the human involved.
Tihs video also shows indoor and outdoor tourneys - I like that! It gives new people the opportunity to see what it's like in both venues.( we also run on packed dirt)
the commentary is great-- listen at the beginnng,@ 7:02 she says something about the loo!-Hee he. :)

You forgot your other title of "overzealous commentor."
Thanks
commentor? Is that a word -
You have such a "dry" sense of humor, you got that from your dad.
Funny... but dry.

I love this video. It's most important when you first get to a tournament to find the bathroom. *snicker*
